Careers at Gaffg
After more than 15 years in iGaming affiliate circles, we’ve developed a deep understanding of operators, affiliate programmes and what matters to both industry professionals and players. As Gaffg expands its player-facing coverage, we’re building a team from editorial, SEO and affiliate backgrounds that can investigate claims, untangle complex terms and explain clearly how sites really behave once a player has deposited.
We are now expanding into B2C, publishing player-facing casino reviews and category pages for players across international markets.
The two sides feed each other. We know exactly how these bonus terms are drafted before they are published on the bonus page. We know why a withdrawal request which should take ‘1–3 days’ to process can remain in the ‘manual review’ stage for a whole week. We are aware of what goes on behind the scenes when you receive a KYC alert.
That is why, when we review a casino, we don’t just look at its homepage. We also scrutinise the small print. We read through the entire terms and conditions and the cashier section, as we know the summary rarely tells the whole story.
On every page, you will notice we hold ourselves to the same standard. We answer your questions directly. We state findings, not opinions. And we don’t sugarcoat anything just to make a casino look good. We call out limitations that could catch you off guard.
Whichever side of the industry you are on, we hold every page to the same standard and we don't sugarcoat anything to make a casino or a programme look better than it is.
Open Roles
- iGaming Content Writer
- SEO Specialist
- Content Editor
- Affiliate Relations Coordinator
iGaming Content Writer
We’re looking for writers who have no trouble switching between these two distinct writing styles. Here, you won’t be just writing generic content like “Top 10 Casinos.” You must be familiar with affiliate managers’ jargon and also clearly and simply explain what players need to know before signing up for any casino. You’ll thoroughly review operators, examine terms in their Terms of Use, and highlight both the positive and negative aspects before determining whether a casino is safe.
What you'll work on
- Casino reviews sourced from account testing, not sales pitches.
- Affiliate program overviews explaining commission rates, negative carryover, and payment reliability.
- Articles that guide a reader through an entire process (i.e., getting verified, selecting a payment method) without losing them partway.
- Editing pages for consistent voice and tone across an expanding library of content.
What we're looking for
- Publishable Writing Experience (iGaming, affiliate marketing, or something similarly regulated)
- Ability to read the fine print well enough to understand what a promo page omits
- Good judgement to know when to cite something and when not to
- Fluid English writing. We prefer a sentence that feels human over something that sounds like it was scraped
Prior experience as an affiliate manager, a casino support agent, or anyone else who's seen the industry from the inside is a genuine advantage here, even if your writing background is thinner than a career copywriter's.
SEO Specialist
Gaffg’s B2B pages are already ranking highly for the terms that affiliate managers are actually searching for. However, the B2C side is still newer, different, and more competitive. Therefore, the same level of attention to detail applied to the B2B side must be applied here as well. This role bridges the gap between content and strategy so you don’t just conduct audits; you also decide what to develop next and why.
What you'll work on
- Keyword research on both B2B and B2C sides. Two completely different areas that should never be mixed into one keyword strategy.
- Technical audits, site architecture, internal linking, page speed, typical crawl-index troubleshooting.
- Content briefs that provide clear editorial direction instead of simply listing keywords.
- Figuring out what's actually moving rankings. Not what looks good on a monthly report.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in an affiliate or review-site-focused environment
- Bonus points for iGaming experience, but not deal-breakers by any means
- Familiarity with our typical toolset (Ahrefs, GSC, Screaming Frog or your equivalents)
- Ability to communicate a technical solution to a writer
- Understanding of how Google handles YMYL/gambling content differently from most other websites
Content Editor
We don’t just correct sentences here. Every detail is very important to us. You are the ones who perform the final check to ensure that the casino’s license number is current and that the promised withdrawal times are accurate. Nothing inaccurate should make it through on your watch.
What you'll work on
- Line edit for voice, structure, clarity for writers' drafts
- Fact-checking against primary source: operator terms, license registers, affiliate agreements
- Editing AI-assisted drafts like you would any page written from scratch. Just because a draft was AI-assisted does not mean you lower your standards.
- Page flagging for re-checks when terms may have changed since original publication.
What we're looking for
- Experience editing content in iGaming.
- Good eye for spotting an incorrect figure in a data table, as well as a poorly constructed sentence.
- Sufficient background knowledge in the industry to identify a statement before fact-checking.
- If a draft isn't ready, we'd rather you tell us directly than let the issues surface later in the editorial review.
Affiliate Relations Coordinator
This one's specific to the B2B side. Our program reviews are only as good as the access we have to actual affiliate managers, actual payment histories, and actual terms, not what a program's marketing page says about itself. This role keeps that pipeline open.
What you'll work on
- Managing relations with affiliate programs/providers/managers industry-wide
- Directly sourcing programme terms, commission structures and payment information, not second-hand summaries
- Aligning with Editorial team to ensure review pieces are current and accurate
- Alerting when a programme’s published terms and practices begin to diverge
What we're looking for
- Existing relationships with some iGaming affiliates (or the ability to rapidly establish them)
- Comfortability having uncomfortable conversations with partners around late payments or terms of contract
- Organisational habits that scale when you're juggling administration on dozens of programs
- A healthy sense of when to take something a programme tells you with a grain of salt and verify independently before passing it on in a review
Our Hiring Process
- Our application process is based on each candidate meeting the requirements of the role. We don’t go down a checklist. A portfolio of your experience and real work is much more valuable than a nicely written cover letter.
- You’ll meet with the hiring manager to discuss the role, your experience, and what working at Gaffg is like day-to-day.
- Writers and editors will complete a short piece based on a real Gaffg brief. SEO candidates will complete an audit/strategy exercise. This gives us a better idea of how you work than a portfolio alone.
- If it seems like a good fit for you and Gaffg, we’ll make you a written offer. Instead of a month-long orientation process, you’ll start working on real projects during your first week here.
Regardless of the outcome, we aim to respond to every applicant within one week.
Why Work at Gaffg
Gaffg has been around long enough that we've developed some institutional knowledge that most affiliates lack. We're also loose enough that a writer’s good idea won't get bogged down in six levels of approval before it becomes a published page.
- Work when you want. We care about the work you produce.
- Editors make decisions. If something needs to change on a page, the person editing that page has the power to make the change. No committee made of people who've never seen the page will decide what happens.
- Feel free to specialize. Some of our best contributors write only about payments or licensing or focus on a particular region. Others write all over the site. You can do either here.
- Real-world experience trumps a generic writing sample any day. We know what we're looking for, and we pay accordingly.
