  1. Your role is for acquisition but do you spend time focusing on the retention side of the business or is this a separate role?

    Although retention is a separate function, my team and I frequently collaborate with the CRM team. So yes, I do sometimes spend time focusing on retention but there’s room for more since I think a lot of our affiliates can do wonders in this area.
     
  2. What are some of the more interesting emerging markets that are important for Roobet?

    Roobet is a truly global brand so our focus is more on reaching global audiences that resonate with our principals and our products than being very localized. This being said, our players can of course use a broad range of languages, currencies and payment methods
     
  3. From your point of view, what insights do you see in different markets around the world that might be useful for affiliate marketers to incorporate into their content?

    I think any affiliate marketer, including webmasters of well ranked igaming forums/review sites, should also try to reach their target audience on channels like social media and youtube (which is also social media I guess). Depending on target demographics, these channels would vary but it looks like people are spending a good chunk of time on these apps regardless.
     
  4. What do you think players are looking for today in an online casino that not all casinos provide?

    It’s becoming more and more obvious that players look for community on top of the entertainment aspect. A lot of the stigma around this activity has dispelled over the recent years and for most people gambling is no longer something they want to keep private, on the contrary, they are looking to share experiences with their peers. Roobet players have a plethora of environments to mingle in, from our Social Media communities to the on-site chat and even in the chats of their preferred content creators, which we support.
     
  5. Are you able to share any insights about the VIP program for your players? How does it work and what can high-roller players expect?

    We have an amazing VIP team and high rollers can expect to receive an invitation to this exclusive club based on their activity at Roobet. There’s a lot of on-site benefits which you can read more about here but what I think is the real selling point are the exclusive in-person events. Where else can you get an invite to a private party hosted by the big man himself: DJ Snoopadelic?
     
  6. What are some tips that affiliates can do in their content marketing to help convert more traffic into FTDs?

We always encourage the affiliates we work with to familiarize themselves with our product as well as our offers and we provide a detailed guidebook to help with that. To maximize conversion, our partners should really understand our target audience and make sure that their potential referrals know what to expect and what to be excited about when deciding to choose Roobet for their gameplay.
