So I just read about Stats Fetch which looks like a new iGaming affiliate aggregators. This space is perhaps a little crowded with the likes of StatsDrone, Routy, Voonix, Affcollect and of course the one and only, Nifty Stats

I'll start with first impressions but I want to state that this project looks like it is in beta form so it is hard to understand if this project is going to get more investment in work.

Stats Fetch Ownership

There seems to be no signatures of ownership other than a few traces. The site links to a Github page associated to ctrenks and it links to allfreechips. A quick search shows Chris Trenka did an interview with GPWA so this might be the likely connection as allfreechips is an iGaming affiliate site.

Is it built with AI?

The website looks like it was built with AI and if you look at some of the repositories on Github, there are a lot of signatures of AI work. It doesn't mean the software isn't good, it just means there is likely more AI built with it. The only thing I'd state as an opinion is a concern about privacy and security. There has been a lot of reports of projects that have been vibe coded but leave a lot of exposures.

Download client means privacy

The one thing I'll give credit to this project is that download apps in theory mean privacy. It doesn't mean the app can't be exposed to security issues but this is something that affiliates do care about.

I know because we initially built StatsDrone to be a download app at the very beginning. The reason why we went cloud was that we had full intentions to build more features and too much effort went into keeping all of our download apps up to date. Cloud means you can build at a substantially faster rate.

Stats Fetch Pricing

5 programs available via freemium or unlimited program connections for $25 per month.

I'm not gonna lie, this isn't bad. It puts them more in line with Nifty Stats as a comparison for both being a download app and with a subscription that gives unlimited number of programs.

My Final impressions of Stats Fetch

Overall, as much as I can be critical of the app and the website, when people build these types of projects, it opens the door for creativity. It pushes all other stats apps to be better via healthy competition and my only request to this app maker would be to build something we haven't seen before or create some adtech add-ons that make this app unique.
